if color and options are not a consern should be no problem. i wanted a torch lt4 with black interior so one came up in town had low miles and all the documentation from day one. new water pump and new f1's the guy was firm. i chizeled him some though i could still be looking or chasing around the country if i was after the altimate deal 17 or 18k will find you a nice car.
your right where you want to be pricewise.
lots to pick from in that area as well.
they never made a bad one.get the newest year you can find for the money you have is the general consensus here.

ask questions here, any and all,we love em!
i was kinda thinking the same, except i dont think its quite enough yet.20k can get you some c5 tires to kick, and i guess you may find a steal on 1 for 17.5 but i just didnt think 17.5 was enough to get you into a decent c5.
sure wouldnt hurt to look though.
I paid 17.5K for mine 7 months ago. It's a Torch Red LT4 with 46k miles. It also came with Michelin Pilot Sports, chrome ZR1 wheels, and Corsa exhaust. I thought that I paid a fair price at the time. Prices have come down some since then. You should be able to get a great car for that price.
