new wheels
got new wheels fitted today,ROH Modenas. 11" by 18" on the rear with pirelli 315 and 9.5 by 18 on the front with pirelli 275. Anyway, the wheels look hot but i did notice that the fronts looked thinner than the stock wheels did even though they are supposed to be 9.5" wide. Thinking the new wheels were made wrong i measured them all up only to find the stock wheels were actually 10 and 1/4 inch wide! 
The specs in the helms manual say the are 9.5" wide, anyone else measured their stock 89 17" rims?
Would post some pics but don't know how.
And No i have not made an error in measuring, so curious to see what others measure.

From: St. Peters MO Sometimes you have to prove yourself by doing alot of killing or alot of dying...
Are you measuring from the outside edge to outside edge? That will certainly make up for the additional width... you need to measure from bead seat to seat. The inner edge of the rim where the tire actually mounts to is only 9½" wide... or should be.
