Is there any advantage and /or disadvantage to use Tuffoil oil additive on a "93 LT-1 with 112K miles on it?
Also, I've been searching for the fuel button for my Drivers Information Center and have had no luck. I've contacted most parts sources I could think of to no avail. I've heard their is a dedicated Corvette junkyard somewhere wher I may find it. Any advice where I could find one?
I'm not familiar with that additive so I can't help there. Unless you have some issues with the motor, I would just continue to run the recommended Mobil-1 in 10W-30 grade. Mobil-1 also has a version for high-mileage motors. If your using oil between changes, you might try that oil to see if it helps.
FWIW, I'm not a real fan of additives as today's oils are good enough to use without them.
For dash parts, you might try Contemporary Corvette. 1-800-367-8388 or their website www.contemporarycorvette.com
