need some help
hi all,was wondering if anyone here knows of a company that makes the glass for targa tops.i'm looking to buy just the acrylic to replace mine.as i'm not rolling in money i feel this would be a less expensive way to fix my roof.thanks for your help.

I looked for the same thing and didn't find anything... what I found was Davies Corvette has reman tops starting at $449 or something like that. I paid $500 and change for mine but I upgraded to the hard coated top.

Yea, what he said. You can buy a used top cheaper yet. Go to the C4 Parts For Sale/Wanted section and tell them what you need. Everything is on this website if you keep looking

I thought I saw someone selling the glass only for like 130 dollars that could then be installed at a local auto glass company...has anyone else seen something like this? Hope that helps!

well guys and gals i have found the answer to my question.i talked to a guy from east coast t-top today and he told me that there are only four companies that form the lenses for our targa tops.none of these companies will sell just the lense to the public.he said that there is to much involved to glueing these on for the home mechanic to handle what with the jig required and the glue that we can't buy.so for anyone new here that ask's now anyone can answer their question with a simple "nobody sells the lense only".hope this helps everyone interested.
