coating on dash pieces
I have seen the question on this numerous times and have always known the awnser. I just had a brain fart earlier and cannot remember the name. What is the name of the rubberized coating on our plastic dash and door pieces in our vette? This winter a friend and I are building a fiberglass enclosure with 2 10's for the vert. In the middle is a PPI 5 channel amp. MB Quart enclosures up front and a 7 inch T.V in the dash. I bought a piece from a fellow member that had the radio cut out for a standard din with a 7 " T.V someone had done a nice job but I would love to refinish it with an OEM finish. I have worked in the car audio field for 8 years when I was younger and have never known anyone to reproduce this finish. So I apologize for the long post but if anyone can steer me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Thanks
