I have for about a year now had the "embosses" in my composite valve covers painted red and the "corvette" letters in the injector covers plus the "gills" in the covers painted red. like this.
But now that I have the motor pulled apart I have painted my intake black and the "ribs" on top red. So if I leave it the way it is the motor will be black with red highlights. I'm thinking of reversing the paint on the valve covers and going red with black highlights. I have tried to photochop it but I'm not any good at that and I can't get it right. So what I'm asking here is do you guys think I should just stick with the black/red highlights or reverse it on the valve covers?
I guess I could paint them and if I don't like it paint them again. <shrug>
Just my opinion but the red highlights look great....if you went all red with black highlights it may be pushing a good thing too far. I also agree that the red nitrous wires gotta go!!
