Flowmasters On
Just had my Flowmaster Super 40's installed this morning. Sounds much better now. These are fairly quiet inside the car, but sound great outside of the car. They aren't loud, just have a very deep tone to them. I like 'em.

and i bet it sound good good good I had my original LT-1 tips put back on. Wanted the sound, but wanted it basically stock looking. It was $259 & some odd change. Yeah, it sounds much better than the stock mufflers. I like these Super 40's, they have the black case, and they are quieter inside the car than the regular 40's. Don't get that resonance.

Did you buy them specifically for your vette or did a muffler shop customize the installation? I'm looking possibly putting Super 40's on my ride. Any sound bytes of the new exhaust?

These were a custom install. They picked the part numbers they thought they would need, so don't have a clue what they were. Sorry no sound bytes, can't be done with my dinosaur, need a new comp.

kwik-ta, I just had the mufflers installed. They did a good job, looks factory.
Len90Vette, the mufflers were 2.5" in & out, center, offset. Part #952546. just one tailpipe. Had the original LT-1 tips put back on.
