I have a 1995 corvette with yellow wheels. To say they are ugly would be kind! Are these factory or original equipment wheels? Would appreciate any info. arkvette

No they are not.. There were pained (silver/gray) and chrome.
Car is torch red. The canary yellow wheels appear to be of correct design for 1995 and i believe they are powder coated. Going to try a spot test with acetone to see if yellow can be easily removed. I don't have any pics right now but will post when I do.

I'd like to see this... besides... without seeing the style of the wheel, it's hard to say if it is stock or not. The finish is not, but it could just be painted from the factory.
someone has posted pics of a car with this color scheme before. it's a love it or hate it. looks like something you would see on european raod racing circuit.
When Bmbl Bee was made "yellow" the guy who painted it looked me in the eye and said "Please doin't paint the wheels yellow". That about says it all for yellow wheels.
Thank you all! I appreciate all the info. I looked at some sites with 98 pace car photos and my wheels are dead ringers for them. If the wheels are powder coated or painted and I remove the coating what might I discover?.......Alloy wheel?........Steel wheel? I don't like the yellow color at all. Is there a possible market for these wheels?

that sounds atrocious!!! You might be better off scoring a new set of rims and using those as spares or racing rims... maybe selling them off??? I think you are in for a project trying to remove the paint and stuff from those rims. I'd suggest sand blasting myself.
Yes there is a possible market for your wheels. You might be able to sell them if you get some pics to some of the C5 guys or ebay....best to try. It appears you like the wagon wheel design (something I like too) and they can be found relatively cheap here on the forum. If you decide to keep them you can just get them powdercoated whatever color you like (IMO black wheels on a red car looks killer) Good luck
please send me pics. ive posted a few threads about it. i have a purple vet and i think it would look awsome on my vette. not sure what your asking for the rims but if you have an idea let me know.
