OK, I'm an idiot so stop picking on me.

I decided I'd clean up the Vette for winter storage. So, I claybar the front, give it a littel Meguires polish and finish it off with Zymol.

I figured I could do a beter job if I took off the front emblem, right, no white powder caught in the cracks, right?

Well, guess what. I dropped the little nut down the hole into the cravass that it is seemingly impossible to get it out of.

Any suggestions for an idiot?

Get 2 more push nuts or do what I did and cut 2 short pieces of rubber hose and push those onto the studs.

Default Try a cable magnet...

Also get a couple new push nuts and for a buck ($1.00) get a cable magnet.

I agree, my engine compartment occasionally likes to gobble up nuts & bolts and the magnetic wand usually comes to the rescue.

Cool Priest logo!! Do they make t-shirts like that? If so, I'd like to get one.

Don't feel bad. I changed my plugs last year, All nine of them!
Still haven't found that other one. Gus the car god must've needed one. And to think, I used to work on jets in the Air Force.

At least you have some idea where it is. What's worse is loosing something like that and you don't have a clue as to where it went.

Suggestion, use a soft bristled toothbrush around those emblems and such, to remove wax residue. They work great, and won't scratch the paint.
