Need Help with a Code
Today a code of 5Y5 was flahing on the left side of the fuel bars. It did it about 20 times. Then about 2 hours after I parked my Battery was dead. I had to Jump start it. It shows 14.6 Volts but the battery will not charge. I am going to have the battery checked and buy a new one tomarrow. Vette won't start. Are these two things, The code and battery going dead related. What does 5y5 mean?

That was a SYS not 5Y5. Didn't have my specs. Makes sense to me now. Will put a battery in it tomarrow. That Vette is smarter then I am. and she is in better condition to! Hate getting old
