Default Fuel filter location

Basic question....where is the fuel filter on my recently purchased 94? In line, in front of the right rear wheel?

On my 96, it's inline "behind" the RF wheel... Basically, if you lay down by the R side door and look around, you'll see it. Just follow the fuel lines (under the rocker panel) forward.

Thank you. Too cold to lie around on the garage floor any more than necessary. Knew I could also save time and get an answer here.

Right in line with the front of the passenger side door under the car on the frame rail ,pull fuzz and run engine until stalls then replace filter.

Yup, its on the passenger side behind the front tire.

If you are replacing it, be sure to loosen your gas cap, pull the pump fuse, crank the engine til dry. This helps get gas out of the line. Then, remove the bracket that holds the filter to the car, take off the bottom line connection (careful, gas will spill out). At this point, you can get out from under the car, free up the fuel line from a bracket in the engine compartment, then gently fish the whole line and filter up. Now, at this point, you have clear and easy access to the top connection of the filter. Remove it, install the new one, and reverse process.

One further thing, if your line does not have O-rings in it, be sure to clean the threads of the line and tighten the crap out of it (just not too much) or else it will leak.

Now that I typed all that out, I sure hope you planned on replacing it
