grandsport stripes ??

grandsport stripes ??
I have a white 93 red interior with grandsport copy wheels. I've been considering putting the grandsport stripes on it. What do you think or would it look hokey ?? I would paint the stripes on in admiral blue of course.

I love it, and it adds just enough to get some added looks and to let you stand out from a regular c4. By the way my stripes are black not admiral blue.

Red interior with admiral blue stripes.... doesn't work for me, but hey, fill your boots. As long as you like it that's all that matters.

Hey, red, white and blue.... I don't have a problem with that! 
The old AMC SCramblers and Rebel Machines looked pretty cool w/ red, white and blue interiors AND exteriors. I think your variation would be cool too. I like the GS stripes on any C4 done nicely. Get a model and do it up that way and decide for sure if you'd like it. Otherwise, do the stripes red as stated above which would also look awesome IMO.

I too have thought about putting GS stripes on mine, but having Polo Green leaves little choice of what color to use. It's either white, silver or gold, so I haven't made a decision about doing it or not.

That does look great. Mid America used to sell the Grand Sport stripes in 3 or 4 different colors. I think they only cost 30 bucks. Check out their website or catalog. As a matter of fact, the owner of Mid America just joined this site. You might e-mail him. Maybe you'll get a discount. Let me know if you do. I'm thinking of getting them. My car is polo white with blue interior, so I was thinking of blue stripes.

I'm glad you posted this thread, I was tinkering around with the thought of putting a black GS stripe on the gold metallic, with an undecided on the fender markings as to their color maybe silver?
What do you think the cost of the job would be? and is there specs to go by?

I was thinking about adding the hash marks to mine also but I don't want to overstep my boundaries. I don't want to be different by being the same (like certain sport compacts out there
