I had keyless entry installed in my '86 Vette about 5 years ago. Most stores that sell car audio can do it for you. The one I got was only about $125 including installation, it also opens the rear hatch.
Put one in mine--opens the hatch and lowers/raises the windows as well; doesn't start it due to it being a 4+3. Cost @ $50.00 and took me about 2 hours to install. You should be able to find a kit at any place that sells car alarms. The place I bought mine at was even nice enough to print out the wiring diagram for my specific year.

No such thing as a plug n play system, but with a GM manual of the theft deterrent module, all the connections can be made there.
Unfortunately, you'll have to get creative to retain the stock alarm system in it's complete form.
To arm the system, the door must be locked while open, then shut. A keyless entry system won't do this, so it'll leave your factory system unarmed. And if you do lock it manually, the keyless will trip the alarm if not wired up right.
I installed the VKE1000 in my '85. It's a keyless system, not an alarm. I wired up relays to send the right signals to the right places to arm and unarm the factory alarm properly.
Honestly, it's a pain in the ***, but the best mod I've done on the car.
Actually a few years back ecklers used to sell a plug n play system, dont know what happened to it, not enough demand maybe at their price. If I had more time and could find where to buy the GM connectors, I'd be making and selling these things.
