Anyone every played the video game CORVETTE, the magazines gave it terrible review, But I like it cause I can race a car that I have in real life while sitting on my couch
My wife got me the game for Christmas. The graphics are good and driving all the different years of 'vettes is cool. It's nowhere near as realistic of a driving game as the Gran Turismo series is but it is still worth playing!
Is this game for a p.c. ?? You know I'm going to have to buy this now.
Playstation & Xbox.
I picked it up for $10 the other day and like it a lot. Sure, it's not as good as something like GT3, but it's still almost as much fun. Sometimes the complexities of the other games (licenses, mods, etc.) can be annoying. As if I enjoy starting out with a POS Euro compact. On this one, you just hop in and drive, which I like.
Yeah Ive got it (ps2). I bought if for the same reason you did. So I could race a car that I actually own. I'm pretty big into racing games and I have to say, that game sucks. There is no realism to it. The cars look decent, but the sound is pathetic. Too unrealistic and unenertaining. Its ok for a game to be one, but not both. If you into drivin games, check out Need For Speed Underground (1 or 2) and any of the EA Sports Nascar games. The Nascar games are pretty realistic and challenging. You have to pay very close attention to car set-up, ideal line, yada, yada. They get addictive. Now NFS underground.....that just plain fun. Not very realistic, but damn fun to play.
i bought it for my wifes son he loves it likes building his own car. i've watched him play it but never played it myself not much into playing video games myself. purchased mine on ebay 9.00 with shipping
Never played the Corvette game, should pick it up sometime I guess...can't wait for GT4. If you want real sims, you should check out the old Papyrus 2002 and 2003 Nascar games. Better sim than any EA Sports game will ever be. They had to stop making them after 03' because EA bought the rights though.
I received this game for Christmas. Like was said earlier, not very realistic, but fun. I don't do racing games often, but have this one in case I do feel like it.
I got it when it first came out for Xbox. Played it for a while on Xbox live. It is ok. Not very realistic. It is almost impossible to go back to playing this game after you have played a more realistic driving game such as Project Gotham 2. The steering on it really is to touchy.
I have it and it is ok, but once you open up all the places, and do all the task then it becomes boring. Can't wait for GT4. Not good quality but was priced very cheap. You get what you pay for.
I picked it up for $9.99. I'm just glad I didn't pay full price. Other than being a Corvette-only game, I'm VERY dissapointed in the playability of the game. Then again, I bought my PS2 specifically to play Gran Turismo 3 so that's my benchmark for console driving games.
Let's just say that "Corvette" sits at the bottom of my stack of PS2 games.
It was $5.00 at K-Mart. I played it twice and then went back San Andreas. My Playstations last about a year and then they bite the dust. Whats up with Sony?
yeah the game isn't very good in fact it was one of the lowest rated games i've seen, but I have it and won't get rid of it, even though grafics suck, sound is terrible, and handling is non existent, but I still will own it.
My son and I picked it up about a year ago... not too bad, with the right steering wheel. We got TOCA Race Driver 2, for PS2, back in Nov. which is a really good game. No Vettes, but about everything else you can think of. Been waiting for GT-4 for over a year.
