Default GM Guideplates (pn#14011051) for sale

I have a brand new box of 8 guideplates (pn#14011051) that I never used in my engine buildup. The guy who re-did my valve train used some adjustable guide plates and I never installed them.

These are the guideplates that are supposed to be angled correctly for the LTx heads (supposedly a perfect fit for correct rocker arm geometry).

These are still in the original box I received them in. They're hard to get and are a special order item. I'll let them go for $50.00 and I'll pick up the shipping on them (this is what I paid for them).

Here's the description from GMPartsdirect.com

---------------------------------------------------------------------
GM PART # 14011051
CATEGORY: Engine Valve Push Rod Cover Guide
PACK QTY: 1 CORE CHARGE: $0.00

This hardened steel guideplate is used with aluminum Bow Tie V6/90º cylinder heads with screw-in rocker arm studs. Technical Notes: Use on cylinders #1, 2, 5 and 6. Grind guideplate to clear valve cover hold-down bolts. This guideplate is identified by the stamped number "05."

That's what I paid for them as they are a special order part. If you don't like the price, don't buy them.

I think you need to lay off the sauce when you're cruising the forum...

Hey what's with the personal attack. I was just giving you a friendly ttt for this great bargain.

Any "drunk while posting" content present in my post, was quoted directly from yours.

Whatever... I've seen your posts before and we both know that you're a wise-acre.

I've made an interesting observation over my several years of being a forum member. I find it quite interesting how impersonal the forum and the Internet is in general. I mean, one could sit safely in front of his/her monitor and type things they wouldn't dare say in person.

Like I said, if you don't like the price and don't want to buy them, don't. I think I remember something in the forum rules about not attacking the price of an item for sale...

You're the one making the personal attacks from safety of the PC.

Good luck with the sale.

Believe me, I didn't make any personal attack. If I had, there would be no mistake about it and it wouldn't have been done in this thread.

I would suggest that if you want to continue this conversation, you take it to email or PM me. Now, if you would be so kind, please go on your merry way and stop trying to peck a fight.
