I have a 383 I just had built for me and a slew of parts to go along with it. In fact, I may be willing to throw in the SuperRam plenum/runners, intake manifold, and adjustable fuel pressure regulator I also have if someone is really interested. It's an L98 style centerbolt/roller/one piece seal type with Edelbrock aluminum heads and a steel crank. 1 3/4" headers, ignition, and a variety of other parts are available as well. If you have a project I probably have all the parts you need. All of them are BRAND NEW (and I have most the receipts).

I'm actually trying as much as I can not to sell this out part by part. The major item is the motor and everything else can be provided to help sweeten the deal.

The 383 was built by DSS (www.dssracing.com) and features Eagle 5.7" rods and forged flat top pistons. It's a 4 bolt block with a "cradle" that also helps to act in some manner as a windage tray. The heads are 2.02/1.6 Edelbrock, the roller rockers are gold aluminum 1.5s, and the cam has .510 lift. The valve covers are tall and clearanced for 1.6 roller rockers and the oil pan is a 7qt road race pan by Moroso. Headers are 1 3/4" ceramic-coated with the proper smog equipment fittings. 30lb Ford SVO injectors, TPIS custom EPROM, Accel 300 digital ignition and wires, and an Accel high flow Fuel Pump. This motor was built in hopes of being the best of smog legal performance and much happier at higher RPMs than any L98 could have dreamed of. I bought the 383 long block for $5500+ and the remaining parts for $1000+. I'm trying to recover as much as I can from this investment but am very reasonable.

Chris,
Just my 2 cents but you might be better off selling the short block and parting out everything else. Dont know for sure but you might make more money that route. I really wish I hadnt started mine a few weeks back or Id of just bought yours off your hands. Anyway let me know if you decide to go this route about that super ram we were talking about. Thanx either way.
