FS: Flowmaster Mufflers
SOLD back in December.
New Price: $100 Shipped
I have for sale: 2 Flowmaster 40 series Delta-Flow mufflers (part #942541). 2 1/2" in/out. Only about 1500 mi on them.
Great shape, but ends are slightly trimmed, due to being welded on previous car.

I don't know about a head-to-head comparison, but they were loud enough that my wife wouldn't ride in my Nova until I made it quieter.
It sounded great to me.

Yes, they are still for sale.
Not sure about direct fit, but a muffler shop could put these on pretty cheap. They will slide over a 2 1/2" pipe and can be clamped.

Hope it's ok if I step in here.
I have the same mufflers on my 85 AutoX car. I think they sound great, but my wife took it out on the street once & had the same reaction as johnnymo63's wife. Now she won't drive the car anymore.
They fit very nice in a C4. I used an X-pipe where the cat used to be & now they have a spectacular high rpm sound.
If I needed mufflers I would buy these in a second.

I'll do some high RPM runs. It sounds best up there.
