17" set of drag wheels for sale- ZR1 knockoffs I believe
Hi guys. I have a set of silver finish zr1 knockoffs that I have been using for the drags. I believe that they are the 11" wide ones. They are currntly mounted with 315/35/17 bfg drag radials, but the tires are shot. Anyhow, I'm looking for $175 for the rims and would prefer local pickup. I'll try to get some photos up later tonight if possible. They're in great shape and I'm only selling to go with a 15" set of drag wheels and either a 325/50/15 or 275/16/15 drag radial for a little extra traction. Feel free to give me a ring at 714-404-8410 or email me at russriggs@yahoo.com

I'll check and see if they have a gm stamp. I bought them years ago off a c5 member so I don't know what make they are. I'll check tonight.
Just out of curiosity, is there a history of these wheels breaking? If so, what manufacturer, as there are several companies that made them? Are you tossing a full on slick on them or something? I've used them for racing, but just at the drags, not cutting corners but I haven't had any issues.

I run the knock off wheels on my autoX/ track/ roadrace car with no problems. I am using them because of the unusual offset (not many choices) needed for the 84-87 cars. You have tons of wheel choices for yours though with current offsets.

Yes the knockoff will hold up just fine, but if you start to get more competitive you might want to look into something lighter. My knockoffs were over 30lbs EACH while my CCWs are about 17lbs each. Made a big difference in the way the car responded to steering inputs.
