Default WANTED: Extruded U-Clips for '88

Looking for (2) of the u clips that are located on top of the radiator housing that air box screw bolts go into for my '88. Again, these are the clips that are not in front for the air cleaner, but on top of the rad. housing... Anybody know where I can get these? Thx

Do you want the male studs or the ****/thumb-screw? Something other than these? Your description seems vague. I don't have but these are all I'm familiar with that's top of the upper radiator support.

Im looking for the "female" u clip that the **** and long screw goes into.... I saw the pic on eBay and it looks like someone bent the clips really bad. I believe the internal threads to the extruded u clip is a 1/4 with a .28 pitch or possible metric for all I know.

Hope this help describe what Im looking for. Thx for your help

Looking for #6 in the pic. Its a metal u-clip with female threads for the **** stub to screw into so it hold the air cleaner down on top of the radiator....

That's a male fastener GM# 14084405 and it's very regularly incorrectly identified on eBay and various other places. My intention was to just get you into a position to show someone what it is that you actually want.

Could it be fabricated? Very likely. I doubt that it's 1/4-28 and I'd expect very likely M6 X 1.0 - if you've a ****/thumb-screw check the thread against some on-the-shelf screws to ID for sure.

I've purchased those clips from Lowes in the past. They are in the nuts and bolts drawers.

I tried that..... the thread pitch wasn't the same. Are these clips what everyone else has under their air dam? on top of their radiator housing on '88 vette?
