….. I have a set of these that were street wheels on my '87 … 17x9 fronts … 17x11 rears … ARE 190's as I recall … very similar to the Dymags that give certain Corvette guys goosebumps … They still have rubber on them Goodyear 275/40 F1's on fronts … Michelin Pilots 335/35 on rears … The tires are old and used but have always been stored in climate controlled conditions … however , they should be replaced … $800 plus shipping …..

You mean these, Bob?

Had them on my '86, and they are still for sale.

I've got an OEM set of 1986 wheels and OEM tires used for NCRS judging if you are interested.

Here’s the “For Sale” thread: Corvette Dymags For Sale

These aren’t really for someone that just wants some replacement wheels. They’re more for folks looking for a second set for a Challenge car or someone really crazy that would put $3K wheels on a $2.5K car. I paid $750 per wheel without covers when I bought them in ‘88. The covers and lock set were an additional $300. To the right buyer at the right time they’d be worth $3000 or more with the covers based on previous sales. They were sold in my thread twice. Once, the poor guy worked for Sears and lost his job right after agreeing the sale and couldn’t part with $3K. The other was to a long time member that we haven’t seen since, I just hope he’s alright. I’m in no hurry to sell, so won’t be taking $1K or less for them, but thanks for your interest.

He is perfectly fine. He is trying to sell another set of Gen 2 Dymags as well.

That's a relief! Brett was usually pretty good about responding to PMs, but I got nothing after April of 2017 and he hasn't posted to the CF since June of 2017.
