It might have to do with the TB (bypass) coolant thing. Hoses changed in 94.

Look in "Tools"--> "Tech Tips"-->"C4" and you will find a list of "free mods", one of them is the throttle body bypass. It is very easy to do and you really only need a one size adapter (I can't remember the size off the top of my head) because even the smaller hose will still fit on the larger adapter.

I got a question about the TB bypass. After the engine is completely heat soaked, does the TB bypass help or hurt? If it does hurt then how much?
