[FS]: HP Omnibook 4000CT Laptop, great for Diacom.
I have my old HP Omnibook 4000 CT here for sale.
486 DX4: 75MHz
8MB RAM
10.5" Display
324MB Harddrive (171MB free)
Windows 95B
Trackball
AC Adapter
3.5" Floppy Drive
2 PCMCIA Ports
Mic/Headphone/Line In ports
1 Serial Port
1 Parallel Port
1 VGA Port
1 Infrared Port
1 External Mouse PS/2 Port
Diacom+ software (NO CABLE!)
The screen is nice and bright with no dead pixels that I can see. The battery is dead, so you will either need a power invertor or new battery to use it in your car. Every now and then it goes DING....DING...DING... there seems to be an ALT key stuck on the keyboard. Press it and it stops.
I used this for Diacom logging for quite a while and it never missed a beat. I might even have a laptop bag and a spare 10mbit PCMCIA RJ45 NIC card I'll throw in if I can find them.
The keyboard, wrist area, and inside of display look mint. The outside of the display has a few scrapes on it but nothing horrible. We aren't talking about a screaming game machine here, just a nice usable laptop for scanning.
I'd like $50+ shipping to anyone?
Thank you everyone. :)

That is PERFECT for Diacom. A GREAT deal too.
I run Diacom on and old 25mhz SX Laptop. It runs fine at that speed. Your laptop is THREE times faster than mine.
Mine is so old it won't hold/run Win95.
Anyone wanting to get into the scanning/tuning bidness this is just the ticket.
OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just noticed you are including Diacom+....
WHAT A DEAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!
That's fantastic Scorp.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm just trying to help the next person to get into this after all the help people have given me. I am not including a Diacom cable though, just the software.
If you are sorta savy with electronics this should work...
