Default [FS] "Corvette" Caliper Decals

Being a dumbarse, I bought a set of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4506179710

Well, I don't have smooth calipers, and am not upgrading to smooth calipers just so I can use these.

Mine are White, and are (obviously) brand new. If you want them, 50% of my dumbarse move gets them shipped - $6.00

I think my calipers have those little 'ribby' things on them on both the C4s.
The Z06 has smooth calipers but I believe it already sez Vette on them.

There may be another place they could be put. Like on a circular air cleaner or something.

This is a good deal for somebody anyway.
I've ordered stuff before that didn't fit where I'd say to myself "What was I thinking?"

Well the funny thing is - I was browsing Ebay one night, and saw "LT1 Vette - C4's" with these decals, so without thinking, I clicked BUY IT NOW - Along with my buddy Larry. We got them, and both said, at the same time "Uhhh, hold on a second". So, he's false advertising, UNLESS there ARE LT1 C4's running smooth calipers?? He DID offer to take them back and refund my money, but I couldn't be bothered - If I can help a forum member out, that's fine with me.

The guy selling them probably doesn't know the difference.
He probably didn't mean to advertise wrongly. I hope.

No, you know what, I don't believe it did it on purpose. Yet, it leaves me wondering, because he hasn't re-worded any of his new auctions, and we've brought this issue to his attention. Makes you wonder.

No, they are laser cut vinyl. What I was going to was paint, apply decals, and apply a couple of coats of clear... I figured they'd be good under clear coat.

Here is his write - up . I'd say he knows what he's selling, since his feedback isn't bad from these things falling off:

------------------------------------

You are bidding on 6 custom made to order High Temp Brake decals for the Chevy Corvette Up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit constant temp!
(We give six, so you have 2 extra)

6 - Standard Design
6 - C5 Design

Why go with high temp vinyl instead of a sticker? - the same reasons house builders and auto manufacturers do - vinyl won't fade, won't warp or peel, and will last forever!!!

Complete installation instructions are included!

All decals come with transfer tape PRE-applied so all you have to do is peel and stick for a professional and PERFECT installation!
