A big problem on LT1s is with the upper radiator hose bursting. Also needs to have the space between the radiator and AC condenser cleaned out regularly.
Get this book: "101 Projects for Your Corvette 1984 - 1996" by Richard Newton. Available at the usual bookseller sites and stores. He has several articles on C4 cooling along with the other sub-systems of the car. This book will pay for itself!

your 95 has several improvements over my 92, so probably less to worry about. since you will probably see hotter summers than me, i agree with corvetteronw on cleaning the radiator, and i would add it probably would not hurt to flush and fill the coolant annually.
other than that, just like Mojo said - it's a car like any other. regular maintenance will keep it quite happy.
i don't know if you get huge downpours like i remember in AZ, but i would avoid driving during those really heavy rains to make sure you do not get the Opti wet.
enjoy!
I have keept up with oil changes, new coolant, filters and such.
The tranny (4L60E) gave up about 3 weeks ago, dropped it and put in a rebuilt and hope to get another 150K. The motor is still in good shape, but I know a rebuild is in the future.
By the way, I bought this car used, 92K miles and I am sure the many previous owners ran the crap out of it, but she is still in great shape.
Automatic - LT1
I recently bought a '95 , Auto, now with 66,500miles on the clock, PoloGreen.

Even if the car is running great, you may want to see if any codes are being thrown. My car runs great too, but the idle stumbled a bit. I replaced my TPS and IAC, cleaned the TB, did the TB bypass "mod". Idle is now smooth as silk.
Couldn't have figured out much without the help of the folks on this forum. It is for this reason I can save myself $130, and NOT buy a service manual !!
(just foolin' around, I will buy one eventually......)
Congrats on your purchase, and I also use mine as daily driver...it makes driving to work not so tedious!!!!
BTW, did you get any service documentation from previous owner/dealer? I bought mine from a dealer in Houston, and all I got was one friggin' set of keys, owners manual, and the title!! Other than that, I am flyin' blind.......

I have recently replaced the following:
Optispark, wires, plugs, water pump, front timing cover seals, rear main seal, transmission, IAC, TPS, fuel pump, oil filter adapter housing seal, outer tie rod ends, lower ball joints, intake manifold gaskets, A/C clutch, O2 sensors.
All except for the transmission, I consider normal replacement parts. I am currently trying to figure out a subtle stumbling idle, but I should have that licked soon. I haven't gave up yet.
Oh yea, I ordered some front wheel bearing hubs. Should be here this week.
This all sounds like a lot of stuff, but if you put on the miles I do, this is stuff you're supposed to change out anyway.
Good Luck!!

Basically it's just another used car so far as maintenance is concerned. Do routine maintenance along with periodic inspections of wear items like hoses, brakes and tires.
With those miles on the clock I suggest you pull the front wheels and inspect the brake pads & rotors. If it doesn't have new pads on the front it is likely close to needing them. If it has new front pads, pull the rears and inspect the rear brakes too.
Good luck and enjoy your new '95 Vette.

Even with all the track time, it's still my daily driver, well it will be again as soon as I get it shipped back out to California.
