Default Sorry, this post is a duplicate of "What can i do for $500?"

Hola everybody,

Because i've put myself on a budget, I'm limiting myself to only spend $4-500 right now on doing something to my car. What stuff can i do to my car to increase performance/handling/horsepower? I know i can't do a whole lot with just that much money, but even tweaking just a little something more out of my vette would just be icing on the cake.

I'm not looking to do any major stuff here... i'm just looking for somewhat easy stuff that i can do myself.

I have a 3 week old '93 LT1.

Give me the 500.00 and I'll make it faster and handle better, by removing the interior and anything else the car does not need to run. So since the car would be lighter it would be faster and handle better by the way I would then sell all the removed parts and pocket it all.

There are several 'FREE MODS' that will give you a lot of bang for 'no bucks'.
Do ALL of that stuff FIRST.

If the plugs are high mileage, replace them.

You'll still have about $489 to deal with but it will be running a lot better.

I like your idea even better!

But seriously I'd get some shorty headers that way you don't need to buy more stuff to get long tubes to fit.

Take your $$ and give your car a tuneup. I did a tuneup on my '93 before I put it up for the winter and it had a very nice performance gain.

Heres the list of parts I changed:
-Plugs
-wires
-Fuel Filter
-Tranny oil & Filter

I plan to put in a K&N air filter in spring. The reason for the tuneup was a high RPM engine miss. Runs like new now and pulls harder.
