Default After Market Fuel Injection

I posted this at the Crossfire forum, but because they mostly rework the crossfire units mat not get a good responce. I have an 84 corvette and was looking at some aftermarket units. Has anyone either used or looked into useing custom after market fuel injection units(customefis.com). The company that manufactures these units state they are good for up to 600HP. The down side is they are based on LT-1 or similar manifolds and the EGR can not be used. How can I get this to pass I roller and sniff test at inspection. Does anyone know how the LS-1 motors pass inspection tests with out a EGR valve. Thanks Bob

A fair amount of preformance can be gained with the Crossfire manifold. If you need more performance than the Crossfire can provide, Edelbrock, Holley, and others sell stand alone conversions for carbed engines that would be best. The EGR MAY be an issue with some of those. The Gen III and IV engines are a whole 'nother situation.
