ABS Relays
I've got an ABS light on my dash and had been trying to find the cause, which was before I got side-tracked with painting my car. Note to Self: Don't try to do two things at the same time; seems I'm not good at multi-tasking.
Someone on the Forum sent me two relays to try to see if my problem was caused by bad relays; but I'm still getting the code.
I want to return the relays but can't find the address of the guy who sent them to me. I've tried emailing a couple of guys who I thought may have sent them but, no.
So I'm hoping the guy I'm looking for will see this post and send me his address. I can be emailed at jakejr266@sbcglobal.net

Someone on the Forum sent me two relays to try to see if my problem was caused by bad relays; but I'm still getting the code.
I want to return the relays but can't find the address of the guy who sent them to me. I've tried emailing a couple of guys who I thought may have sent them but, no.

Did you get the problem worked out? Check each wheel sensor; they can get unbelievably gummed up, causing errors as well...
P.S. You say Relays, I only know of one, which i got lucky and i actually fixed my ABS problem
The relay you checked was right Next to the ABS computer in the well behind the driver seat right? Just checkin....

:Yes, there are two relays in the well behind the driver's seat. I swapped both of them out, but still got the dash light.
I also removed and cleaned all four wheel sensors, still no improvement.
When I finish color sanding the car I'll have at it again. It's got to be something simple because one day there was no light and the next there was.

Hi what year is your car Jake - mine is an 86 - and there are 3 relays - 2 next to each other held down by a metal plate that plug into the pump itself and a 3rd seperate longer one with a wire connector.
On my car it was this relay which had a break on the circuit board where the earth went to - couldn`t get the relay but managed to solder it.
I`ll send u a pic just in case....
