WTH... starter wont crank....
engine just rebuilt...rolls over by hand .. stiff but does..does this mean that the starter is failing? any opion?
btw it worked just fine before.. is there something i missing?

Check power to starter
check for correct wiring
check Batt
Jump the started relay
starter fuse
clean connections
Pull it and bench test it.
I'm guessing you have done all this already....right?

do ya think it ay be the starter itself? ya see i forgot to mention we are bypassing the entire system...using a remote starter switch Soo's i can turn over motor to install and fine tune...
what are the thoughts on this dilema?

thanks for your suggestions! ....went directly to starter and tested current at terminals..there was 
...can see checking all the other items, but is was that gut feeling.....
it was the starter,,,,the solenoid /plugger contacts wore worn out not making contact...replaced 2 copper lugs ... good as new...BUT i ordered new gear drive starter.. WOWOa price here is 379.00$...
