Will need to do complete cooling system overhaul shortly and will replace the old heater core (it's leaking) and the radiator (in advance of a different, larger dispacement small block next year).
Has anyone purchased the aluminum radiator from the Corvette store on this site? Also, anyone have any experience w/the DeWitts or Be Cool radiators?
I got a Dewitts at the NCRS show last year. Ran it all summer here in Florida and it never goes over half way up the temp guage. It used to go over that all the time. I also added a Victor's Edlebrock hi flow pump at the same time too.
My radiator went south in my '85 last year. My funds were a little tight at the time so I ordered my replacement radiator from Auto Zone. It was the OEM type radiator (plastic ends, aluminum core). The car ran fifteen degrees cooler and it fit with no problems. Replacing the heater core was a different story. Get a AC Delco core. I tried the local auto parts versions and they wouldn't fit. Good luck with your car!
a DeWitts. A quick web search easily finds "Be Cool", but no clear direct links to DeWitts models?
Anyone?
With a flashing forum banner on top, and the sponsor link, and number one on google search when typing in "corvette radiator", or www.corvetteradiator.com, or www.dewitts.com, you managed to miss that and find be-cool?
