i need help with gears
hi
i have a complete stock 90 ragtop , auto ..I want to add gears for more getup and go off the line as i did not want to touch the engine ..can any one tell me what i need as far as parts and gears to do this i do not want to go the extreeme just some more off the line go.
I seem to remember my 86 was faster off the line than this 90

Well from what I read on here, for a stock L98 the gear to go with would be a 3.07..
What gears do you have now? Most likely you could just get a gear set and rebuild kit then have someone install.
