Search is deceased again and i am going to be replacing my intake gasket soon (96'LT1), what brand gasket should i get for the best results?
Thanks
~B~
I just replaced the intake gaskets on my '92 LT1 with the $15 Felpro set from Autozone. For the front and back, I took the suggestions of several forum members and used Permatex The Right Stuff RTV silicone, which seemed to be very high quality.

So far, so good!
i also used a LITTLE Permatex black silicone (2B?) around the ports. the Felpro set includes new injector o-rings and TB gasket, but no EGR valve gasket (does your 96 even have an EGR valve?).

What he said, and dont jump in the car and start it as soon as you finsh, let it sit for 24 hours to allow the permatex and RTV to cure.
I let mine sit 48 hoiurs just to be safe, and not one leak
