ZF-6 rebuild
My 94 needs a rebuild/replacemnt of its ZF-6. In the UK kit seems to cost about $3000.00 YES $3,000. I thought I read here recently about GM dealers being offered new gearboxes at a good discount??? Could anybody help out with some info here please?

Do you guys have to deal with that import duty/tax as well? In Ireland you can’t pickup your packages until you pay the VAT on it.

Thanks for info...have emailed GMPartsdirect to find out about warranty and who rebuilt the trans...and yes I do have to pay tax etc but only after receiving the parts unlike in Eire
