I am about to install my ATI Procharger (P600B) on my '90 6 speed. I have a stage 2 JET chip and was wondering if I am better off leaving the chip out or programming the chip to work with the supercharger. The JET chip is basically a 28 pin chip on a Memcal adapter. So the car would still use the limp home mode. Is this a question for Ski_it_down?

You're always better off with a custom chip when doing a radical engine mod like a Supercharger. However, to get it running and shaken down, you're better off with a stock chp as that's what the mfgs assume for the SC kits. From there, you can get a custom tune to achieve greater performance.
I would look for a custom programmed chip... I have flash memory, and probably have gone through about 200 iterations. For the money you'll be glad you did.
When you get into high rpm's with a centrifugal... you want to be sure you have plenty fuel and your timing is under control. With a stock performance chip they tend to advance the timing and trim the fuel which is just opposite of where you want to be...
I guess I need to clarify. The JET Stage 2 chip is basically the same as Moates G1 Memory adapter with JET's chip in the ZIF socket. This adapter plugs into the stock memcal. The chip on it is removable. I was thinking of removing the JET chip and putting on a 29C256 flash chip. I have a laptop and a cable. What else would I need to be able to do my own tuning? Will Datamaster do this? Or Tunercat?
Datamaster is a scanner program that you use to evaluate your new chip. You hit the road with the new chip and Datamaster will log a number of variables for you. Back at the garage you look at the data and decide for new changes.
I'm using Tunerpro to alter the constants and tables in the chip, I think Tunercat is a similar program. It is possible to change raw data in the chip but a program such as Tunerpro will scale and organise data for you which makes it much easier to do changes.
Does anyone have timing tables and/or fuel pressure tables for a supercharged L98 that they can share?
I have the EEPROMs, Tunercat, Datamaster and the adapter. I only need to get the programmer. I have no problems adjusting the injector size, but am a little nervous about adjusting the other stuff.
