R-D Racing Crossbar installed

This piece is well designed and the installation was 10 times easier to install than the Exotic Muscle bar I raved about 4 years ago.
The box came yesterday, it is packed very well, it's UPS safe

No missing pieces due to the fine packing job, it's almost impossible for anything to fall out.
First I had to remove the old Exotic Muscle Harness Bar. That was pretty simple, it's just four nuts and the two seatbelt bolts.(Dave provides excellent instructions BTW)
You start off with two new longer seatbelt bolts(included) and install the brackets. You leave them loose enough so the bracket can still swivel.
Then you install the actual Cross Bar(I just realized, I didn't take any pics during the install only before and after). You get these beefy bolts that go through the bracket, through the Cross Bar and into the lower bracket which then bolts where the targa top holders are.(some trimming of the carpet is needed, shown in the pics)
I left my targa top holders out for a very good reason, I don't remember where I put them when I installed the EM bar. So in the pics, you will notice that they are missing. The Cross Bar itself and all mounting hardware do not interfere with proper storage of the targa top.
I've attached a few pics that will hopefully show how simple it is to install.
After I tightened everything up, I believe you could lift the car by this bar, that's how solid it is.
I can't give a road report just yet, but I will first chance I get(getting ready to go away).
It also comes with a camera mount.
Folks, get in on this GP, you can't beat it.

The EM bar will go into my automatic car so I can shoot drag videos until the time comes that I get a rollbar which is when I will sell the EM bar.
Nevermind, finally found it.

I, too, went from the EM bar to Dave's about a month ago.. From the packing, to the install, it's EXACTLY like you said - A BREEZE to install compared to the EM... VERY well made, and an awesome looking addition to my new interior... Kudos to Dave
Here's mine:

Not only does it allow for use of the targa top storage, but it really isn't in the way at all as far as vision goes. Everything went in just as easy as Mojo said. Three cheers for Dave & R&D quality products for a good price.
