Are there aney high flow cats with the o2 sensor that don't cost a small fortune. Or what do i need to do to my car to run bullet cats that do not have the o2 sensor? Or what do i need to do to my car if i toss the cats in the trash and run with out them? The car is a lt4 it has corsa exaust. I have tpis headers going on soon.I need to get my ducks in a row. First off, I don't like the idea of no cats. Second, you won't like the loud... trust me on that one.

High flow cats are cats... Technically, you need ODBII compliant cats, check with Magnaflow's subsidiary CarSound. They make cats, and the prices are very reasonable.

Also, check with Exotic Muscle, they sell quite a few different brands of high-flow cats.

I know a lot of people don't see the advantages to cats, but the biggest is keeping our air clean. For that, I support them.

If you wanted to keep the air clean you could always get an electric car or ride a bike to work.j/k

If you want to take out the cats all you need to do is buy a set of o2 simmulators i think that they are around $40 each. and then you can take out the rear o2's all together

If you want something inexpensive and small like a Random Technology cat, check this out:

The hard drive is for size comparison. They are tiny and cheap ($71). I got a pair of them to go straight off the collectors of my Exotic Muscle headers.

RT cats are expensive because of the name and also because they use what is called a "Metallic Matrix", which means their substrate is metal instead of ceramic. The main advantage of the metallic substrate is much faster light-off times because metal conducts heat much better than ceramic. In terms of efficiency, I could not tell you which is better.

Here is a link to the cat incase you or anyone else is interested (company was very good to deal with and shipped very promptly).

Cheap bullet cats
