Question about LT4 valve springs
I will be installing CC 1.6 Magnum RR on my 94 LT1 in the spring and have a question about the valve springs. I will be upgrading to LT4 valve springs and retainers. I know that the LT4 was redlined at 6300, but also had lighter valves than the LT1. I will be keeping the stock cam for now, but plan to install LT headers and hi-flow cats as well down the road. I know there wont be a point of reving it too high since I still have the stock cam. So my question is how high can a LT1 be safely reved to using the LT4 springs? 6000 RPM? Any input appreciated.
