I have hooker super comps and Canfield Alum heads , angle plug and have no problems with NGK or outolite plugs....which are a touch shorter than the A/C Delco's
I have the 2151-1's with AFR 210 w/L98 angle plug and they all clear OK except # 4 and # 5.
FWIW, I spoke with AFR in person in INDY in December and they say the Heddmans are the best fitting header for AFR heads.
If you really want Hookers, headers that is, do what I did, cut the #4 and #5 tubes off and heliarc weld two new tubes in with ample clearance then have them ceramic coated. They only needed to extend @ 3/4 inch farther out to clear nicely, so thats what we did.
Are the angles different between L98 and regular angle plug AFR Heads? It can't be that much of a difference. So I guess my Hookers won't bolt up to a regular AFR Angle plug head? What about Brodix or Dart?
