Walbro pump install
I am having some issues with the install. I bought this kit from Racetronics RX-C44-FPA-B . First no instructions. None.
It looked simple enough. I removed the old pump and placed the new pump in the old spot. It didn't quite fit the same. I had to squeeze the bracket in a little to get it to hold the pump. Then the bracket that is tack welded to the bottom of the whole thing broke off. It wasn't rusty.
Do you remove the pulsator above the pump?
The wiring harness was pretty much plug and play, but there is a terminal on the black line that goes nowhere. Just leave it? Trim it and splice it back together?
Will the pump stay inplace without the bracket at the bottom?
Maybe I should use a hose clamp to hold it to the bracket.
