Oil Pressure problem- '86 Coupe-Auto
Yesterday I noticed that my Oil Pressure dipped severely a few times when making sharp turns....went below 5...red light came on briefly but no codes thrown. Then everything back to normal as I straightened out. Idles fine.This just started happening. I'm no wrench and turn to you guys for some help. Any idea what this might be? I have 88K on the car.

Really sounds like you're low on oil.You might want to hook up a mechanical unit and compare it.Just because you replaced the unit a year ago doesn't mean it is still good today.

Well, I only use this car on the weekends. About 3K per year. Just went outside and checked the oil....lo and behold...I AM LOW!!! I usually get the oil changed twice per year due to the low mileage that I put on...and it's just about due. I've never had it get LOW like this. Sounds like there's some underlying problem. Doesn't seem to be leaking.
