Optispark drive shaft seals
Hi, I just bought a new Optispark, removed the old one and noticed the new one doesn't have the o'ring on the drive shaft??
Aren't they suppose to come with new o'ring?
The old ones are 10 years old already, I don't think I should reuse them.
If I should get new one and if they don't come with the new unit, what is the P/N and are they easy to find?

My lt4 opti has two on the optispark shaft that goes into the timing cover. My new opti did not come with them. The two orings on my old opti were dried up, one broken in many pieces. You may be able to get away with using orings from a hardware store. Not sure if it calls for orings that are oil resistant.

Thanks so much Steve, I bet this is it since P/N 12552428 is the Front cover Optispark Seal, this has to be the o'ring then.
