Default TPS and MAP sensor connector

I know I can get them at Mid America and probably Corvette Central but, is there a better place to purchase the clips for a MAP or TPS? It seems like whenever I work on a high mileage car, the silly little clip breaks no matter how careful one is. I just want to have some extras around.

Pep Boys carries a bunch of weatherpaks. Sometimes you have to buy the harness, but I just remove the leads so I don't have to splice anything. To get rid of the old connector, just crush it with some pliers or vice grips and then insert the leads into the new one.

I actually use some small diameter brass tubing that works well to remove the old pins. It just slides down the pin beyond the connector and depresses the lock tab. I also have small pieces of flat spring steel that I have formed for flat pin removal.

As far as Pep Boys is concerned, I visited my local one Saturday and was unable to find the connector. They were SO busy I will visit another off peak time and ask.

Thanks.

Once or twice a year I go to the boneyard. While there I clip these connectors off and throw them in a jar. Most, if not all, of these connectors fit a similar year gm product. If it looks the same it usually is. Dealers charge way too much.
