Have never posted in the C4 section. Don't presently own one.
Here's a question for a friend with a 92 Convertible. Went with him today to a local racing fab shop to inquire about having a rollbar made. He's interested in NCCC high speed events. The rollbar must meet NCCC specs.
I mentioned that just MAYBE someone makes a "prefabricated--bolt or weld in" rollbar for the C4.
Sure Chuck - R-D racing makes a bolt and weld in version - they go in easy and meet specs.. Give Dave a call - R_D is actually one of the forum sponsors - If you go into the C-4 Tech - performance - you will see that R_D sponsors that forum.

Wow, that was quick, guys. I figured somebody had to be making one, since the C4 has been around for nearly 2 decades.
My friend got a quote of approx. $800.00 to fab and install a rollbar. This was from a shop that does racing fabrication...builds chassis for dragsters, etc.
$800 sounds about right to fab and install. I was quoted about $1200 when I told then it was a Vette. They said the extra cost was to cut the fiberglass....
All those pre-made 8 point rollbar are for coupe only. But he is asking one for the convertable. The convertable is slightly different. Your best bet is to have a shop do all the fab for you. Check out my 8 point for my convertable on the forced induction section, there you will see some pics there.
