Wire harness connector

Hi,

I have -84 and I want to take out the wire harness in the engine bay that comes out through the firewall between the battery and the brake booster. How do I separate the connectors? Seems to be 2 big "plugs".

On my 85, there is a bolt that goes in between the two plugs into the firewall, a small hex head bol, like a 8mm head or so.

Loosen this bolt and the two plugs will release.
