Default 90-96 interior in an 87

Im looking to make my vette custom and think it would be cool to put a 90-96 interior into my 87. Is this possible if so what has to be done in order to do it?

There is a guy here by the name of -=Jeff=- , or something like that, that has done it. Alot of the sensors won't work right unless you upgrade the computer as well, and even then you'd have to go with 90-91 ecm and ccm, which would call for converting to speed density set on the engine, and means you also have to use the speedo from the same year.

But if you want to know if the pieces will fit.... yes they will, with a little work for brackets and such.

one last thing - the later dash requires later door panels. They do not support speakers. The later C4s had depressions in the rockers for speakers. Without those depressions, speaker installation gets troublesome.

Just so you know.

No all the sensors on the motor.. less the Oil temp and the MAF sensor. since the 90-91 is MAP.

Best way is a 90-91 dash harness and engine harness.. It takes work but can be done...
