Default Replacing Bushings with Poly, What Else?

After taking a look at my bushings (look like they went through a shredder) with 150k miles on them I'm going to replace all of them with some ES poly bushings. While I'm in there what else in the suspension would be a good idea to replace... tie rod ends, ball joints.. anything else for a '94 vette with this many miles?

You aren't gonna believe the diff those bushings will make . You are gonna sling the car around for the first time and **** yourself.

It would be a good idea to do the tie rods and the upper and lower balljoints, if they look to be the original and the upper ball joint still has factory rivets holding it on the control arm. It's a lot faster and easier to have a reputable shop press out your old lower ball joints and the new ones in place than attempt it with a vice at home. Same goes for the bushings on the upper control arm, unless you yourself has the tools to do it at home of course. Also, perhaps have a reputable shop drill out the upper ball joint rivets from the upper controll arm. They are at a slight angle and it's easy to go off center and ruin the control arm. This would also be a good time to pull the front spring and lower your front end if you want to do that, while everything in the front is appart, you degrease things, and wait for the control arms. I did it in my driveway with minimal difficulty.

I got my whole front end rebuilt kit from PST (Performance Suspension Technology) for about $250 over a year ago.
It came with all the front end bushings (made of Poly-Graphite), including the sway bar bushings, tie rods, upper and lower ball joints. Real quality stuff.

Go with the ball joints and tie rod ends and also a new set of shocks. All these components work together and you will not believe the difference in your car when you're done. I went on step further and put a vert x brace on my coupe and I fell in love with the car all over again.

I'm gonna step away from the crowd here and say inspect your parts! If your parts are not worn out, don't replace them unless you just like spending extra money.

I would also inspect u-joints on your half shafts to see if they are in need of replacement. At 150k, they very may well need it. While you have the rear end tore apart, this would be a good thing to do as well.

I'm in the middle of doing just the rear on the bushings. Saving the front for next winter. I'll be interested to see the difference and if its really noticeable, I may have a more pressing summer project in getting the front-end done.

Aren't these cars fun, there is always something else to do on them!
