Default Edelbrock performer lt1 heads?

I was wondering if anybody has opinions/reviews of these heads (pn 61909). Any flow #'s after port? Cam choices with these heads? RWHP/TQ numbers? I plan on heads/cam/longtubes/vig/.. trying to figure out performance. Also, any other opinions for heads/cam. Eventually shooting for high 11's.

Trick flow,GM lt4,afr these are some choices that seem pretty decent

Yeah, I have been reading up on those. I was just curious if anybody had good results with these? Any opinions on where/who to buy from and have porting done? I really need some insight here as I am not very mechanically inclined. Looking for mid-11's... and the best way to do it NA, daily driver.

The Edelbrock LT1 heads are 50 state legal. That's their strength.

It's also their downfall... they are not what I would consider a "racing" head.

They are well made, and of great quality, but I would not use them on an 11 second car. I just don't think they could flow enough for that.

Okay, I will no longer consider those. Any other inputs?? A little off the topic, but will long tube headers bolt up to stock exhaust??

No, they wont "bolt up" and you wont be able to use your stock cats, but if you get bullet cats any exhaust shop should be able to tie it all in for you.

Thanks, that is what I thought. I remember the PITA it was for headers on my 97 ss camaro. Thanks for all the input so far.
