Default Sealing O2 Sensor Opening

I'm installing a Corsa exhaust that was designed for a '96 so it has the extra O2 bung welded on which obviously I don't need for my '94. Anybody know if a pipe plug will bolt into the O2 opening? I don't have an old sensor around so that is not an option and I don't want to have the opening welded shut. Appreciate any feedback on this.

the easiest thing would be to get an 02 bung from a store.. take it to ace hard wear and find somthing that will fit it then return 02 bung.
I have 2 extra rear 02 sensors if you need them...

Ill send them to you for shipping if it helps you out!

let me know.

also you could have something welded over it.

You can order an O2 bung with plug from summit for a couple of bucks. That way you don't have to guess on the size. You might also check with a local exhaust shop. They have the TAP for it, they might also have some plugs. My exhaust shop did.

Thanks guys. I'll take a ride to my local NAPA store tomorrow. Didn't even know they made something like that, figured I'd ask here.

Get an 18mm x 1.5 replacement oil plug. Fits perfectly. You can also use an old style (large) 18 mm spark plug, same thread pitch. I got the replacement oil plug at Autozone for a couple of bucks.
