I didn't have a good experience with them, but from what I read, I'm one of the very few who had a problem.

I have PCMforless.com program. I was able to start the car with the tune for the first time last week. Still need to take the car to the dyno to check AF ratio. They didn't change the VIN in the PCM which they should have done.

Would like to know a little more??????

I have found them very easy to comunicate with on the plus side......my car is different & the tune is probably not perfect, hope to fix this with some dyno tuning planned in May with PCMforless..

Bottom line is I very much recommend them...

They did a tune for heads and a hot cam.
It was running pig rich, dangerously rich. He felt that there was something wrong with the car I felt there was something wrong with the tune. They offered a new tune, but I didn't have the time to take them up on it.

I don't have any internal mods so I am not like Bud, but I had great experience with them. They did all the basics like CAGS, and Vats, I also had them change the fan temp triggers since I have a 160 thermostat. They supposedly tweaked the tune a touch, but the only confirmation I have is the dyno shop said the air/fuel curve was pretty darned good. Again, no mods on the car - just Magnaflows and a cold air box.

The dyno shop I go to uses PCMforless for their custom prom burning. They did a chip for my car last year and I've been very happy with it.

I can't say enough about Alvin at pcmforless; hell, I can call him just about anytime of the day (EST), and he's there, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. My 02.

Haven't had them do my car yet, but did my gf's '96 Z28. For the money probably the best computer option I've found. Car runs a lot better in general, plus a little extra bang with the slight slight tuning and tranny shifts, also fixed the speedo for the 3.73s (which is why we used them to begin with). Originally we used JET module that hooked to the tranny and yea.... biggest pile of s*** ever. Can't say enough about pcmforless's fast service which was the obvious highlight of it.

I asked this same thing a few months and I onlt got good feedback. I then bought the chip and I'm happy with it so far, but I have yet to get it on the road (damn snow). I'll be more then happy to report back when I do.
