All of the wires that pop out the front - A/C, IAC, etc and the injector wires were ran under the plennum.
Did that before mputting the plennum on.
Hooked up injectors also - be sure you can turn the injectors with the wires on. You will need to turn the injectors to tighten up the plennum.
PS - Fired my bad boy up last night - The sound and smells brought one big smile to my face. Hope to finish up interior wireing - switches for water pump, fans and ??? other mysterious things. Hope to take it out later before the snow storm hits.
Larry here are a few things that make the install easy..I am sure that you slotted the ends of the screw. I have the injectors plugged in on mine.. I have read that some people get away with doing the after the thing is bolted down.. I use gasket cinch on the gaskets.. Make sure that you have all the bolts started on the intake to runners, Runners to plenums started before you tighten anything down..This is very critical. The tools to make the job easy are,
Ball head allen wrench.
Ratchet wrench.
Long boxed end 12 point wrench.
Once you get good at this you should be able to do it in a half hour..
I used antisieze on the bolts to. To prevent galling.
Many thanks guys, I cant see beating my head against the wall on the assembly with the wealth of knowledge that you guys and the forum have. I trying to phsyc myself up for this! Thanks again for the guidance!
If you haven't yet go and run the proper size thread taps through the bottom of the plenum and also the top for the lid bolts. This made my installations sooooooooooooooo much faster having nice clean threads.
