Default HELLPPP, car dead

Changed the shocks yesterday and test drove the car, woke up this morning to change the spark plugs and when I open the door there were no lights, put the key in and no power what so ever. It has been raining here pretty good, does anybody know what it could be?

Powerless in Orlando

Leave the hood,door,hatch open?
Charge up the battery and check for current draw with key off (hood light off). Rain (humidity) can do funny things like corrode electical connections and cause shorts.

My brother just reminded me of a problem I had with my 90 ragtop.

The interior light delay module was failing andwould keep the interior lights on continuously.

Feel kind of dumb, when I replaced the steering wheel cover it was getting dark so I turned on the light on the mirror. Well when I got the battery charged and back in, the light came in the car and in my head. Some dope left my light on

Don't feel bad; the other day I was getting mine ready to install a new hatch release and rear struts (due to arrive the next day). In the process of removing the hatch release, I removed the switch that turns of the hatch lights. Closed the hatch and left her over night ... next day, no start, felt like a real bone head
